About

This web site provides the data products from the Program of the Antarctic Syowa MST/IS Radar (PANSY radar).

What is the PANSY radar?

PANSY radar is a large VHF-band MST/IS radar located at the Syowa Station.
The radar measures the three dimensional wind velocity vectors in Stratosphere, Troposphere, and Mesosphere.
